The quietest week

Do you recognize Armin, Anna, Eva, and Britta?
Believe it or not, this is how they have looked since Monday.

Jena, Greta and Elaina

This is the quietest that our house has ever been. The kids have all taken turns with 104-105 degree temps, coughs and sore throats.

They were finally all over the rsv from 2 weeks ago, and then this came into the family.

The Sick room

Eva and Anna at their worst.

BRRRRRR It's cold outside!!!

We are doing schoolwork by the lake today. We decided to make the best of a very cold day, and pretend that it's summer in our livingroom.
With the wood burner piping hot air into the living room, it makes it that much easier to pretend it's hot.

Here are a couple of pictures of Liberty Day in 2007.

If you are interested in attending this year, check out the following link.

The Liberty Day Foundation was established by several families in northern Illinois with the purpose of stirring the hearts of Christians to consider the many facets of liberty; and to remember the principles, vision, faith, and sacrifices of those who have gone before and given us the unique country that we enjoy today. We are their posterity and must be careful not to waste their extreme efforts and must beseech heaven, and do our part, to preserve the legacy for our posterity. May God grant us the heart to do it, Amen!
