Today we spent most of the day at the Beatty farm. It started out as a "see the baby goats" fieldtrip, but then we asked if there was some work that the kids could do. (My kids, not the 4 legged kids at the farm)
Then Bill found out that he didn't have work, so he got to join in on the fun.
Between riding horses, playing with all the animals, helping out around the farm, and eating delicious homemade soup, we had a wonderful day.
The weather was perfect, and everyone had a lot of fun. I took over 60 pictures, but only put a few favorites here. Enjoy :o)
Pictures from up in the hay loft.
I'm sure the Beatty farm is much quieter now. Thanks Beatty Ladies for a fun day!!!

Britta's Dress
Happy Easter! He is Risen Indeed!!
Coloring Easter Eggs was quite the experience with 7 of the kids all taking part. The biggest problem was that I thought a dozen eggs was a lot..... Not enough when splitting between all of them. It turned out that Jena got to do 2, the others all did one and then worked with a partner on one, and then there was one left for mom.
They had fun, but next year, I'll do 2-3 dozen instead "what was I thinking?"

There are some other background noises, but if you listen carefully, you can hear Karina.
